Product Description: Masala chai is a flavoured tea made by brewing black tea with a mixture of aromatic Indian spices and herbs.
Originating in India, the beverage has gained worldwide popularity, becoming a feature in many coffee and tea houses.
Our blend is made with Assam black tiger tea and is infused with cardamom, cinnamon, fennel, star anise, peppercorn, orange peel, coriander seeds and ginger bits.
This tea is very warming on a cold day and is beneficial in preventing and treating colds and other respiratory ailments.
Steeping Instructions: Use 1 Teaspoon for one cup and use boiling water 210° – 212° F / 98° – 100° C. The first steep 4 – 5 minutes. A second steep is possible. Initially it is best to start with a small quantity of tea. This will help you to find that right cup that suits your individual taste. OR steep to your individual taste.
